Now colleges will be able to rent classrooms, labs, and libraries to any educational institution.
This is important news for the teaching departments of colleges and universities, who will be able to rent their building, classroom, lab, library, and computer center to any educational institution. For this, they have to enter into an MoU with the concerned institution. The amount received from the rent will be spent on the college’s infrastructure development, but all the colleges will have to ensure that their own classes, computer training, and lab research are not affected by the rent. All the facilities can be rented to any other school, college, coaching organization, etc. during the time when the college is not established.
In fact, most colleges begin in a single shift.Someone’s time is from 8 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon, or from 10 in the morning to 5 in the evening. The rest of the time, the college remains closed or only the staff is present.
What is the reason for the decision?
This is a very good decision by UGC. The major reason behind this decision is that new coaching institutes, schools, colleges, libraries, and computer labs are continuously opening in many cities, including education hubs like Indore, while most of them lack classrooms. There is a lack of infrastructure. There is a lack of facilities. Lack of computers, lab equipment, and not enough books in the library In such a situation, if the colleges provide all these facilities to these institutions on rent, then more students will benefit. Along with this, easing the financial burden on the concerned educational institution will also work.
